Just my few cents ..which I did for my old diabetic mother…my own receipe…pls hv atleast one cup 200ml to 300ml with bf or by 11am n by evening 6pm bef dinner. You could consult dr.
This is wholesome soup which I had tailor-made for my amma.

      Cut cubes of white pumpkin
Yellow pumpkin each small cup, carrot half, french beans 2, one medium tomato, chow chow cut in cubes little. In vessel put two teaspoon slightly roasted yellow moong dal …wash well. To this add all veg. Pour little water. Add haldi salt. Pressure cook 5 or 6 whistles. Cool n make it all into puree. Pour in pan. Make thaduka with little ghee half spoon. Add hing. Jeera. Or saunf. After its done. Switch off gas. Add half teaspoon rasam powder n pour the thaduka on soup. Add curry leaves coriander leaves. Keep in small flame n frothy like rasam don’t boil. Switch off. Add salt to taste. Can add jaggery if not diabetic.

I make the soup medium thick. For my mother …n it helped her carry on to swallow food. N gave good health too. In her old age.
Am not a dietician. But saying from personal experience. My mother had challenges swallowing in old age n still this soup helped her.
All the 6 veg are easily available in south india i feel.

      Just my few cents. Njoy
      Cheers.
      Hope it helps. Hare krishna.
